Dreams can come true

Boys & Girls: Sometimes, if you really wish for something hard enough, your dreams can come true....

Paula Abdul breaks nose trying to avoid stepping on Chihuahua!

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Paula Abdul broke her nose over the weekend after she fell while trying to avoid stepping on her Chihuahua, her publicist said Monday.

"She's a little sore but is doing fine," he said. She tore cartilage in her nose and fractured her toe.

"I took a nasty fall...trying not to hurt my dog. I bruised myself on my arm...my chest, my waist all the way down to my hip. All from my little chubby Tulip," Abdul said.

The dog was not hurt, and issued the following statement through her handlers:

"That stoner had it coming, and no matter what she's tellling you, I had nothing to do with it. Wait a minute - did that bitch call me CHUBBY ????"

I'm going to be honest: when she mentioned "my little chubby Tulip," I wasn't thinking about her dog at all.

Who almost steps on a chihuahua? They're like the smallest things in the world. In fact, I'd go ahead and say that based on their incredibly tiny mass, every time you take a step, you have a 99.99% of not stepping on a chihuahua.

Of course, you also have a 100% chance of not recording a solid gold hit like "Cold Hearted Snake," so I'd say she was just squaring up her debt with the universe.

You can step-on tiny dogs, trip, fall, break your nose, (and puke), anytime you're drunk. Trust me (and Paula).

GODDAMN PISTOLS! Always beating me to the best lines. I was all heated up with the idea of her chubby tulip and there you are smutting it up ahead of me.

There's probably more cartilage in the chihuahua than there is in her schnoz anyway so she did the right thing.

I debate the validity of her story. I think Simon Cowell finally snapped and beat her in the parking lot with a sack of oranges.

Guv'ner - we've all seen a Georgia O'Keefe painting and will now forever link lady parts and flowers. I wonder if that was her goal - "I'm going to redefine art. Not with a new style, but by telling everyone how much this flower looks like my hoo-hah."
