Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

This will be my final post for 2008... I'm leaving town for a while, so I'd like to wish all of you fabulous people a truly terrific holiday. Thanks for all the laughs this year...

I'm spending the holidays with my family, which means I'll be drinking with a view and writing for the next couple of weeks, so I'll be back in January with more stories, one less blog (rocketalk is going off the air) and a brand new format.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Joyeux Nöel et Bonne Année!
love Kat xo

When you see your grand pappy tell him to check out my blog.

Is that the view you will be drinking and looking at? Cause if it is, well, hate you is not a strong enough term!

Seriously, have a wonderful vaca, and don't miss us too much.

Have a great one, Kat! May Snowmageddon fail to impede your holiday enjoyment!

Oh, and I like the new look. Very fresh.

This was a great post and then you went and spoiled it with that snooty French talk.

But, whatever. Merry Christmas. Feliz Naviblah. And you totally spewed the Christmas spirit all over that anonymous douchebag over at FTA. ;)

SouthernBelle: thanks - and I wish the same for you!

Sean: thanks - you've been silent for so long that I've only just begun to discover your blog, but we'll set that right in '09.

Zibbs: sorry, I don't have a grand-pappy, so I guess I'll stick with Plan A: wherein I don't discuss your blog with anyone. Merry Xmas, Good Doctor!

SkyDad: yes, that's the view from the chalet at Les Brasses in the French Alps. Will you still be my friend if I bring you back some mountain moonshine?

Imaginary Reviewer: Thanks! I made secondary arrangements in case I can't fly out. Christmas in Detroit should be just as fantastic, right?

BeckEye: Sorry I frenchified our special moment. And could you believe that guy on FTA? What a dick. I went all Billy Zane on him (cuz I got yer back), but your response was even better.

Some Guy: Thanks! and Happy skiing!

Oh, now I need to know where the fight was over at FTA!!! I can't find it!

katrocket said...

sorry to disappoint, SB - there's no fight, just a random visit from an asshat:

If you capture a yeti while there, I'll give you $5 for pictures of its junk.

Joueuxxusdo Noel and all that, miss.

Also, I like it when you change your look. It's like sleeping with a whole new lady.

Poobomber: Thanks - filling up on food and booze are my two primary directives during my holiday.

Pistols: French Yetis are notorious flashers, so that cheque better be in the mail. And no jokes about the way I spell cheque, asshole.

Pistols: Everything I do, I do it for you - although sometimes I also do it for Bryan Adams.

Have a wonderful trip, Katbaby! I'm so glad we got to know one another this year. Don't tell the others, but you're my favorite.

Travel safe and please come back!
